Attack on Women at Indian Bar Intensifies Clash of Cultures

The push for women to be the masters of their own lives continues in India.  There are some who would love for women to hide in their homes and continue the domesticated slavery that has been the norm for thousands of years.  But women are fighting such nonsense tooth and nail.

    Well obviously men would like to keep women down – it’s just more convinient to have a “free maid” waiting at home every day. Good thing it’s all changing. Give it 10 more years.

    It is appaling that in this day and age, there are places in the world that are still in the middle ages ….
    I’ve seen a documentary about how the Indian govt is educating women on things like marketing, is this true ? I mean, it seemed real but they didn’t mention the scale of this. I fear it might be a publicity stunt only…

    It\’s terrible that these times people are still treating women so bad in some parts of the world. Hope I\’ll live to see the day when that is no longer an issue.
